I will be the first to admit that one very frustrating thing about me is that I don't scare very easily. And even when I do, I don't usually react very violently. Maybe a deep breath and that's about it. I know, it's a terrible, terrible thing but not something that is easily changed... unless you live with Ellisa. This girl is the master of freaking the bagibers out of me which is ironic, considering she is one of the easiest people in the world to scare. Walk up to her and so much as say her name when she is preoccupied and you are golden. I will now enlighten you about an instance in which this girl made me screech with shock and my hair stand on end.
I was at the house by myself for... Oh, several hours or so and I am sitting in the office working on some stuff when I hear movement in the living room. I don't think too much of it since I have music playing, the dogs are loose, and this little voice in the back of my head hints that Ellisa is probably back. I finish up my task, rise from my sitting position and start to walk around the corner when suddenly there is and Ellisa staring me straight in the face. I nothing short of leap and almost fall backwards, let out a befuddled in-hail/screech and raise my hands in an attempt to... I don't know what. Ellisa was as surprised by my reaction as I was by her appearance and the next 5 minutes we spent trying to control our laughter. I really want to know what I look like when I scare now. It must be quite the entertaining face because Ellisa started the laughing first...
