We were recently taught a new card game in which you get your cards, decide on how many hands you think you can win, and "bid" on how many you think you can get. The goal is to get the number of wins that you bid and the way you win is to put down the highest card of the ones put down. Well, at one point in the game I had the little 2 of hearts and knowing it was going to be the lowest card I dropped it to the floor and huffed "You despicable little thing." Well, apparently I was staring deep into Ellisa's soul as I said this and I got the weirdest, most confused look from her as I refocused on the face I was apparently staring at. Of course I explained myself to my baffled best friend, but as punishment I don't think she will ever let me live that one down.
Later on as we were outside watching the shooting stars with some other friends, my outside cat Tia decided to join us and get hair all over everyone. Oh yes, and when she purrs she also tends to drool, so at one point I said (apparently out loud) "Eww, she's drooling on me." Note to self, be very careful about how you word anything you say when you are around good friends because they tend to have fun with your verbal oversights. Apparently Ellisa now likes to drool on people and has a fluffy tail that she enjoys sticking in peoples ears.
